■（簡単なあらすじ）
主人公・小橋宏典（ひろのり）は、
当時妊娠していた妻・千晶（ちあき）のために、出世を目指して仕事に没頭していた。
本来であれば持ち出し厳禁のデータを自宅に持ち帰るほど、がむしゃらに働いていたのである。
しかしある日、宏典はその重要なデータが入ったUSBを紛失してしまう。
そればかりか上司や同僚には一切報告せず、事実を隠蔽してしまったのだった。

だがそれを上司である蛭間（ひるま）に知られてしまい、
宏典は脅迫されるようになる。
蛭間の要求はただ1つだけ――「千晶に近づくことを黙認しろ」

到底受け入れられる要求ではなくそれを断ってきた宏典。
しかし、蛭間はついに「千晶に会いに行く」と宏典に宣言する。
そして宏典は……不正が発覚する恐怖から蛭間を止める事が出来なかった。

だが、その後も千晶の様子に大きな変化は見られなかった。
宏典はそれを「蛭間の接触を千晶が拒み、何も起きなかったのだ」と勝手に解釈し、
深く追及することもせずにそのまま見過ごしてしまった。

しかし現実はそう甘くはなかった。
あの日を境に、千晶は少しずつ……だが確実に変わっていった。
宏典の知らない、蛭間だけが知っている’別の雌’の姿へと――…

■(A brief summary)
The main character, Hironori, is
He was immersed in his work, aiming to advance in his career, for his wife Chiaki, who was pregnant at the time.
He worked so hard that he would have taken the data back home that he would normally not be able to take.
However, one day, Hironori loses the USB containing the important data.
Not only that, he didn’t report anything to his boss or colleagues, but instead concealed the facts.

However, his boss, Hiruma, discovered this, and
Hironori begins to be threatened.
Hiruma has only one request – “Acquiesce to approach Chiaki."

Hironori has refused it, not an acceptable request.
However, Hiruma finally declares to Hironori, “I’ll go and see Chiaki."
And Hironori… was unable to stop Hiruma from the fear of discovering fraud.

However, there was no major change in Chiaki’s behavior since then.
Hironori interpreted this as “Chiaki refused to contact Hiru-san and nothing happened,"
I overlooked it without pursuing it in depth.

However, the reality was not that easy.
From that day onwards, Chiaki gradually changed… but certainly changed.
To the appearance of a 'another female’ that Hironori doesn’t know, only Hiruma, knows…
